Artist's Description

In this photo, Aphrodite (aka Venus, the goddess of love) stands in the center of a museum cluttered with various artworks. She stands as the focal point of art that spans centuries and styles, as she portrays the epitome of beauty.

This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
