Artist's Description

A large cube covered with mathematical formulas floats above the floor. I’ve always been fascinated by mathematics. Its formulas and equations remain true anywhere in the Universe. This photo expresses my awe for the mathematicians throughout time who have discovered these truths.

This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
