This photograph shows a large rotunda at night - totally vacant, except for the lighted doors at the rear. There’s an emptiness and solitude present in this room, yet we are aware of activity beyond.
This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
