Light through a stained glass window illuminates this imaginary burial place for nameless and forgotten saints of the world. The crypt in which they were interred. None of this exists in reality of course - it's merely what I imagine it could be.
This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
