Artist's Description

Here is a photograph of a city populated with gears, springs and bells - all components of a steampunk environment with its retro-futuristic aesthetic.

This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
