Artist's Description

This interesting room is filled with clocks of all types, yet they all are set to different times. It brings to mind the ways people experience the passage of days, weeks and years. It might also suggest the transience of existence… or perhaps simply a room filled with timepieces in need of repair. The 11.75"x16" edition is limited to 10 prints.

About John Manno

John Manno

I studied film and photography, graduating way back when in 1973. Shortly after graduation, and after an eventful stint as a bartender, I embarked on a career as a commercial photographer making images for design studios, magazines and advertising agencies. For four decades, working from my studio in Manhattan, my work for high profile clients had been seen in some of the most prestigious publications. I gave up working as a commercial photographer, and now I create images that express my own aesthetic. I am much happier. My photographs have appeared in dozens of gallery exhibitions and art fairs at home and abroad. I continue making these images and others from my home in Brooklyn, where I have been living for that past 30-plus years.
