Description
The sundial in the center of this columned atrium stands as an indication of the passing of time as birds gather to roost. But doesn’t it feel more like time has been standing still? Will the birds every fly away, or are they bound to this space and time?
This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
