Artist's Description
This photograph is a depiction of the arrangement of four spheres: the two balls in the back and the two lamps in the foreground. I reference the word Syzygy - a term usually associated with the study of astronomy to describe the physical relationship among two or more orbs.
This image is from my series Misbegotten Places, where I photograph small sets built from photographs. With proper lighting and camera angles these sets become lifelike, yet always somewhat misbegotten. Editions are limited to 9 prints.
